Granton Village Board Discusses T-Shirts

-The Granton Village Board discussed t-shirts for the village at their meeting last week.According to the unofficial minutes from the meeting, the board discussed purchasing t-shirts with the Village of Granton logo to be worn during outside meetings. This will present the village on a professional level and is an easy way to advertise Granton. There is a local lady who does embroidery which would keep the cost down. The village clerk will research prices for next meeting. The board also heard an update on the library. The library demographics for 2017 was presented to the board. Noteworthy was the library has 22 computers available for public use and the computers were signed into over 4000 times and the library had 15,803 visitors who checked out over 11,000 items.
Also, mobile hotspots are available for checkout and the director brought one the board could look at and ask questions. There will be a civil War presentation by Abrahman Lincoln on May 1st at 5:30pm and everyone is invited.
