Hixton Woman Appears in Trempealeau County Court for Vehicle Death of Passenger

A Hixton woman charged with a fatal crash that occured in April of 2020 appeared in Trempealeau County Court.
According to court records, Autumn Holbach was driving with Michael Greengrass when she reached down to pick up a cigarette. Holbach lost control of the vehicle and Greengrass was ejected and killed. Holbach suffered non-life threatening injuries. Holbach is being charged with knowingly operating a motor vehicle while revoked-causing death of another. Her license was revoked at the time of the accident and she had been convicted of operating while revoked six other times.
During Holbach’s recent court appearance, she waived her preliminary hearing. She entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her. She’s scheduled to be back in court June 30th.
