Owen-Withee School Board Update

The Owen-Withee School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting last Monday.The board approved the resignation of Jacquelynn Kuyoth from her Jr./Sr. Language Arts position and they approved the resignation of Tara Busse from her Elementary Teacher position. They thanked both teachers for their years of service. Also, the board approved the transfer of Ann Harlander-Fitzl to the Jr/Sr High position. Mrs. Fitzl will teach 7th and 8th grade language arts and literature as well as some high school reading courses next year. The board unanimously approved the hiring of Hailey Kadolph to be a 6th grade teacher in the 2018-19 school year. Ms. Kadolph will replace Mrs. Fitzl in the elementary school. She is finishing her student teaching this spring and will graduate from UW Oshkosh with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Language Arts.
The board unanimously approved the voluntary transfer of Brett Weber from Custodian to the Head of Maintenance position. Brett has worked for the district since 2005 as a night custodian. He has prior maintenance experience in his employment prior to starting in the district. The board unanimously approved hiring Phil Greschner as a custodian. Phil will work evenings in the elementary school. He is replacing Joe Lambright who is moving to a day position. The board unanimously approved the hire of Chris Luloff as a custodian. Chris will work evenings in the high school. He is replacing Brett Weber who is moving to the Head of Maintenance position. Finally, they approved maternity leave for Alicia Wilson. The board unanimously approved the request for maternity leave from Mrs. Wilson. She will be taking the first six weeks of the 2018-19 school year.
