Administrators' Reports at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Elementary Principal Joe Green updated the board on the elementary school annual Color Run scheduled for May 9th, summer school, and the playground project. The board also heard a couple committee reports. They heard an update on CESA 10 and a WASB reminder was given. They also continued discussion on the development of a compensation structure. District Administrator Todd Felhofer reported on some political items regarding schools. He stated the Wisconsin DOJ is administering a $100 million grant for school safety and security. The district is consulting with CESA on possible grant opportunities. He also provided some follow up information regarding school safety from the district’s liability insurance carrier and from the district’s ALICE trainer. He also offered his congratulations to Dean Lindner on re-election to the Board and to Jerome Krempasky on his election to the board. Both took the oath of office after the meeting.
Mr. Felhofer also state that due to music concerts on Monday, May 14th and May 21st the board may need to re-schedule the May board meeting. The May meeting is the board re-organization meeting. Finally, in addition the music concerts, other events coming up include the Fine Arts event on Sunday April 15th at 3:00 pm, the FFA Banquet on Monday April 16th at 7:00 pm, and the Employee Recognition Program on Friday April 27th at 3:45 pm at Parkway Pines.
