Marshfield Man Sentenced for 9th OWI

-A Marshfield man was sentenced in Marathon County Court on Friday for his 9th OWI.Jeffrey Adams was arrested at the end of August after a significant amount of beer cans were found opened and crushed in a vehicle that had been loaned to him. Authorities were called because the owner of the vehicle had asked for the vehicle back. Adams had threatened to harm the owner after he found out the authorities were called. When Adams was pulled over he had a BAC of .208.
Back in November, Adams pleaded guilty to his 9th OWI. A charge of operating while revoked was dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 6 years in prison and 5 years of extended supervision. His license was revoked for 3 years and an ignition interlock device must be installed for 3 years.
