Election Day in Wisconsin

-Regardless of the weather, it is Election Day in Wisconsin.The big statewide election for today is the State Supreme Court Judge. Voters will decide between Judge Michael Screnock and Judge Rebecca Dallet. There is a statewide referendum question on the ballet as well. The question is in regards to the elimination of the office of state treasurer. There are also local races here in Clark County. Local races include county board, village board trustees, mayors and school board. Many of these races are uncontested, but there are a few contested races for those positions around the county.
The big election in Clark County is the judicial race. Clark County residents will choose between Lyndsey Boon-Brunette or Roberta Heckes as Clark County Jude. If you’re not registered to vote, you can do so at the polling places today. Polls are open from 7am-8pm and the election will continue regardless of today’s weather, so be safe when you go to vote.
