Two People Running for Open Spot on Wood County Board
Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 -- 7:59 AM
(WDLB) -Two people are running for an open spot on the Wood County Board on Tuesday.Jason Zaleski and Kristine Johanek are running to replace Ed Wagner, who is stepping down from the Board’s District Four seat representing the southern portion of the city of Marshfield. Like Wagner, Zaleski is a current Marshfield alderman, and says that gives him the experience necessary to represent the city on the County level as well. Zaleski currently represents the city of Marshfield’s district seven on the city Council.
Johanek is a retired Marshfield teacher, and wants to bring that unique perspective to the county board. Johanek and Zaleski are the only two candidates in the District four Wood County race on the Tuesday ballot.
