Palm Sunday Chorus Tradition Continues in Marshfield

(WDLB) -A Marshfield tradition continued on Sunday.The Palm Sunday Chorus presented its 65th concert of sacred music at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Marshfield. And in its 65th performance, the Chorus put on its usual 90-minute concert in front of a packed O-L-P, featuring 65 singers from Marshfield, Hewitt, Spencer, Pittsville, Auburndale, Stratford, Loyal, Colby, Abbotsford, Edgar, Arpin, Neillsville and Wausau. This year's guest conductor was Edgar native Scott Baeseman. Baeseman serves as the choral director at Lake Forest Country Day School in Lake Forest, Illinois.
The chorus yesterday performed three pieces composed and arranged by Baeseman. If you missed yesterday's concert, it will be broadcast on Good Friday at 2 p-m on W-D-L-B, and again on Easter Sunday morning starting at 11 a-m.
