Neillsville School Board Discusses District Parking Lot

-The Neillsville School Board discussed redoing their parking lot at their meeting on Monday.No bids were collected and no action was taken on the agenda item. It was merely discussed. The total cost of the project would be around $650,000 and would encompass the entire district parking lot. It was mentioned that the district could do the project now and have it fit in their budget, if they split it in half between two budget years, the remaining school year and the next school year. The discussion also evolved to talk about some other projects the district would like to have done including the track, the entry ways and others.
It was then discussed whether they should do the parking lots separate and consider a referendum for some of the other projects or go to referendum for all the projects. Again, no action was taken on the item and discussions are in the preliminary stages.
