Wisconsin RtI Recognizes Area Schools

The Recognized Schools program encourages schools to expand, refine, and sustain full implementation of an equitable, multi-level system of supports.

The Wisconsin RtI Center and Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction have recognized several schools in different areas for their work.  Some local and neighboring schools recognized include the Neillsville Elementary with a bronze in behavior, reading and math; and Neillsville High School with a bronze in reading.

Granton Elementary with a silver in reading and Granton High School with a bronze in reading. Colby Elementary with a bronze in behavior. Abbotsford Elementary with a bronze in reading and a silver in math.

The various Marshfield Elementary Schools including Grant, Lincoln, Madison, and Nasonville all received a bronze in behavior and Washington Elementary, also a part of Marshfield, received a silver for behavior.  Marshfield Middle and High School received a bronze in behavior.

Medford Elementary and Stetsonville, also a part of Medford, both received a gold in behavior.  Black River Falls Middle and High School received a bronze in behavior. Stanley-Boyd Elementary received a bronze in behavior and math and a silver in reading.  Stanley-Boyd Middle School received a bronze in behavior and a silver in math and reading.

Osseo-Fairchild Elementary received a silver in behavior and reading and bronze in math. Osseo-Fairchild High School received a bronze in behavior. Augusta Middle School received a bronze in behavior and reading.  Augusta High School received a bronze in behavior.

Finally, the various Elementaries within the Tomah School District, including Camp Douglass, La Grange, Lemonweir, Miller, Oakdale, Warren, and Wyeville received a bronze in behavior.  Camp Douglass, La Grange, Lemonweir, Miller, and Oakdale received a bronze in reading.  And Lemonwier, Miller, and Oakdale received a bronze in math.  Tomah High School received a bronze in behavior, reading, and math.

By providing a picture of full implementation and recognizing schools during the implementation journey, RtI encourages and celebrates equitable student outcomes.

The Wisconsin RtI Center is inspired by the hard work and dedication that schools and districts invest in their implementation of an equitable, multi-level system of supports. Through their recognized schools program, they honor and celebrate their journey.
