(Leader-Telegram) -An Osseo man accused of beating a woman with a gun and pouring gasoline on her appeared in Eau Claire County Court on Wednesday.Back in January, the Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Department responded to a domestic incident. The caller said Reiner beat the caller’s sister with a gun and poured gasoline on her. The victim was reluctant to say what happened because she didn’t want Reiner to go to jail. The woman eventually said she and Reiner were arguing and she told him she was leaving with the children. She said Reiner came running into the living room with a gun, saying he was going to stick it in her mouth and kill her. The woman said Reiner hit her twice with the gun.
Reiner told the deputy he and the woman got into a fight but that it was no big deal. Deputies found the gun on a shelf. There was ammunition in the magazine but no round in the chamber. Reiner has been charged with aggravated battery, disorderly conduct, bail jumping, 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety and a felon in possession of a firearm. During his arraignment he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’ll be back in court in May.
