Black River Falls Woman Enters Plea for Drug Charges

A Black River Falls woman arrested after a drug investigation entered a plea in Jackson County Court.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in August of 2019, they executed a search warrant at a home on the 400 block of Chestnut Street in Black River Falls. Charles Sarmiento and Sierra McKee were arrested.
During her court appearance on Monday, she was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, maintaining a drug trafficking place. Another charge was dismissed and read in.
Back in March of this year, Sarmiento pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug trafficking place and possessing a short-barreled shotgun. Three other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 3 years of probation.
