Clark County Board of Supervisors Meeting

The Clark County Board of Supervisors began their meeting on Thursday with some training and a report.The board went through courthouse security and active shooter training. They also heard an update on the status of the opioid litigation they approved joining at a previous meeting.
The board also had the 1st reading of the amended Clark County Code of Ordinance Chapter 12. They will have the 2nd reading in March. The ordinance is in regard to environmental zoning.
The board also approved a resolution approving the sale of some county forest land and withdrawing it from the Forest Crop Law. The land is in the Town of Mead and will be sold for $3,960.
The board also approved a resolution offering condolences to the family of former board members Norman Wesenberg
