Another Challenger for Sean Duffy

Tuesday, February 20th, 2018 -- 8:01 AM

(WDLB) -A former Marshfield Clinic physician and one-time President of the health organization is running for Congress.

Brian Ewert of Marshfield has declared a democratic candidacy for the seventh-district House seat currently held by Republican Sean Duffy of Wausau. Ewert is one of four Democrats running. The latest to announce is the manager of the Eau Claire based Indie-rock group Bon Iver. Kyle Frenette has made it known his plans to run. He’s been the manager of Bon Iver since the group formed in 2007, helping them win two Grammy awards in 2012 for best new artist and best alternative album.

Frenette is a Chetek native. He joins at least three other Democrats, including Ewert, Allen Campos of Sheldon and Polk County Attorney Margaret Engebretson.
