Two Arrested in Neillsville on Friday after Execution of a Search Warrant

-On Friday February 16th, at about 8:00am, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Neillsville Police Department executed a search warrant at 111 E. 1st Street in the City of Neillsville.The search warrant was a result of an ongoing investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and Police Department. Upon searching the residence, the Marathon County Bomb Squad was notified to handle a hand grenade that was found. After they removed the hand grenade, we searched the residence and discovered illegal drugs and paraphernalia. Four children, ages 2, 9, 10 and 13, were removed from the residence by Clark County Social Services. Two dogs were also removed from the residence and taken to the Clark County Humane Society.
Two adults were arrested as a result of the investigation. 45-year-old Robert L. Bounds and his wife, 32-year-old Savanna F. Bounds were both referred to the District Attorney’s Office for Possession of THC with intent to Deliver, Possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia in the Presence of a Child, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Child Neglect. The Probation and Parole Office has also placed a hold on Robert. Robert and Savanna are currently in the Clark County Jail awaiting their initial appearance in court.
