Administrators' Reports at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.District Administrator Todd Felhofer discussed some political items effecting school districts. Proposals to increase in Sparsity aid and raising the low revenue ceiling for school districts has passed out of committee and it is looking very likely that these measures will pass the Legislature. Both would have positive impacts on Greenwood. ALICE training for students and staff took place on January 29th. Training went very well and students and staff did a great job. High School registration for 2018-19 is complete and scheduling will begin very soon and the district received the bus inspections and there were no concerns. The NEOLA Policy update will be coming soon as well.
Finally, he mentioned that the new web page launched on January 22nd, the bell schedule will be changed for 2018-19, March 5th is the annual Legislative Evening in Medford and the MS/HS PAC meeting is March 14th at 6:00 pm in the LMC.
