Clark County ATV/Snowmobile Trails Still Open with One Exception

Thursday, February 15th, 2018 -- 10:57 AM

-Clark County ATV & Snowmobile Trails located on both public and private land will remain open for designated use at this time except for trails maintained by the Neillsville/Granton Trail Busters.

Trails maintained by the Neillsville/Granton Trail Busters are now closed. According to the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department, warmer weather is expected a few days this week, so riders are asked to ride responsible or limit use during these warm spells. Doing so will help preserve the snow base that is present and prolong the riding season for further enjoyment. Early season riding conditions may still be present in some locations so please use caution. Off trail activity was also observed in several locations over the weekend. Riders are asked to please respect the landowners who allow trail use on their property and stay on the designated trails.

Please note that UTV’s are now allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the winter months, now through May 14th. Clark County Trails are subject to periodic closures. Please contact the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department for trail conditions/closures.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
