Neillsville City Council Approves Resignations

-The Neillsville City Council approved a few resignations and appointments at their meeting on Tuesday.The council approved the resignation of William Weiler from the Police and Fire Commission and Heather Langreck from the Parks and Recreation Board. They approved the appointment of Aaron Wanish as the new member of the Parks and Recreation Board. Finally, they approved the hiring of Nicholas Pope as the newest Neillsville Police Officer.
The council also heard the Historic Preservation Commission Report from their meeting on February 1st. They approved a $500 grant for work done at the old hospital at 319 State Street. They approved a $500 grant for work at the old Christian Science Church at 132 E. Fourth Street. Finally, the discussed several topics for 2018 projects.
