Owen-Withee School Board Begins Meeting with Open Forum

-The Owen-Withee School Board meeting began with an open forum at their meeting on Monday.The open forum featured several individuals who spoke about the recent incident in the Ag/The Shop involving district personnel, the O-W-C Fire Department and the Clark County Sheriff’s Department. All spoke in favor of the Ag/Tech program, the FFA and Mr. Engel. A letter was read that described a hostile work environment vfor Mr. Engel and showed strong support for him and his program. Discussion was stopped at 5:15pm so the regular meeting could begin.
However, during the beginning of the meeting, more individuals spoke in support of the Ag/Tech program. Letters from students in support of the program were read by an adult community member.
