Mosinee Man Arrested for Drug Charges in Marshfield Sentenced in Wood County Court

A Mosinee man arrested in Marshfield after 42 grams of methamphetamine were discovered was sentenced in Wood County Court.
According to the Marshfield Police Department, back in April of last year, officers investigated a suspicious person complaint at 2121 W Veterans Parkway in Marshfield.
Upon making contact with 3 individuals, one of whom was on probation, a search was performed due to the individual’s probationary status and searching guidelines regarding Act 79.
During the search, Dakota Strebig was requested to exit the rear of a vehicle and refused. The male became resistive and was taken into custody. Upon taking into custody, 42 grams of Methamphetamine was found on his person. Street Value of the meth exceeded $4,000.
Stebig was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession with intent-amphetamine. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 4 years in prison, followed by 4 years of extended supervision with a condition of 5 years of probation.
