In Conjuction with YPWeek 2018, Clark County Forming Young Professionals Group

-In conjunction with the YPWeek 2018 expansion initiative, Clark County is forming their own Young Professionals group.The Young Professionals of Clark County is still in the infancy stage of development. We welcome all newcomers to meet with us at our next meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 15 at Parkway Pines in Greenwood. We are seeking anyone who wishes to meet likeminded peers to network and build new connections in Clark County.
Since this group is brand new it offers a great opportunity to anyone who wants to have influence in the group’s development. Membership is free of charge and open to anyone regardless of age. We are looking for people who want to be more involved in their communities and Clark County as well. Clark County Young Professionals will give all participants the opportunity to share their knowledge and professional experience to make a positive impact on Clark County.
The group is currently in the planning stages for our first “meet and greet” style event. This will be a networking event that will take place in either March or April. This would be a great time to meet people from all over Clark County. It will give everyone involved a chance to discover businesses, learn new information, meet people, and discover resources in Clark County they might not have been aware of.
Our hope for this new endeavor is to increase community involvement in many different areas. This could take the form of mentorship and education opportunities with Clark County youth, volunteer activities, and bringing awareness to everything that Clark County has to offer young professionals.
