Greenwood Woman Charged with Child Abuse

-A Greenwood woman has been charged with child abuse in Clark County Court.According to court records, the Greenwood Police Department received a report of possible child abuse back in April of 2016. 23-year-old Amanda Noah was watching a baby and she told police the baby was gasping for air. Doctor performed a scan and found a small bleed in the baby’s head. Noah initially denied causing the injuries, but, later, she said she forcefully flung the baby on her shoulder after become frustrated.
When she checked on the baby later, the child was unconscious. She admitted to police that she knew she caused the injuries. She has been charged with child abuse, recklessly causing harm. She has an initial appearance scheduled for March 28th.
