Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association Announces College Scholarship Recipients

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Baraboo-based Equity Cooperative Livestock Sales Association has announced the names of this year's college scholarship recipients.The co-op is offering ten $1,000 scholarships for students attending a college or university, and two $750 technical education scholarships. The scholarships are funded by Equity and distributed through Cooperative Network's Federated Youth Foundation. To be eligible, students or their parents are patron members of Equity Livestock.
Applicants must have completed at least two semesters at a post secondary college, university or technical school, as well as maintain a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale. One local winner of the scholarship was Ashley Zimmerman of Spencer. She’s studying agricultural education at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls
