Loyal School Board Approves Long List of Items

-The Loyal School Board approved a long list of items at their meeting on Wednesday.The board approved the Jr. High Football co-op with Greenwood for next year, viewed a BoardDocs presentation for paperless meetings and they discussed their attendance at the Medford Legislative meeting. The district is sending 6 people. They also approved the new teacher/support staff pay models, approved caps for special ed. open enrollment and approved sharing a Choir teacher and Librarian with Granton for next year. The board also approved purchase of new fire doors in the Jr. High and the hiring of summer grounds keeping positions.
The board was updated on the progress toward SAGE, or small class size grant, goals, approved the district’s participation in a volleyball injury research study and approved the donation of a tractor from Elroy Roedel. Finally, the board discussed administrative contract rollover and District Administrator Evaluation forms were distributed to board members.
