Clark County ATV/Snowmobile Trails Open this Saturday

-Effective this Saturday, January 27th at 8am, trails located on the Clark County Forest will be open to ATV and snowmobile riders.Trails located on private lands will also be opened to the public at this time. Some trials located in the most southern portion of the county may remain closed to ATV and snowmobile traffic due to inadequate snow coverage. Area clubs are currently grooming and inspecting these trails to determine their condition. Trails will remain closed until Saturday so the unusually warm weather expected on Friday can pass without causing significant damage to the trails base. This also allows area clubs enough time to properly groom and prep the trails.
Please note that UTV’s are not allowed on the Clark County ATV Trail system during the winter months, November 1st-May 14th. Clark County Trials are subject to periodic closures, contact the Clark County Forestry and Parks Department for more information.
