City of Marshfield Developing Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan
Tuesday, June 8th, 2021 -- 9:01 AM
The City of Marshfield is developing a bicycle and pedestrian plan with the primary emphasis focusing on improving the city’s bicycle and pedestrian transportation system for future use by all residents and visitors.
The goal of this plan is to improve connectivity and safety by identifying future trails and bike routes for future projects. They are holding an open house Wednesday, June 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Wildwood Station to provide information regarding the plan and to gather public input.
"It's crucial to receive public input and recommendations for the success of this plan," said City Planner Bryce Hembrook of Development Services. They are currently conducting a survey to help them better understand bicycle and pedestrian needs in the community.
