Wisconsin Attorney General Stops in Clark County

-Wisconsin’s Attorney General Brad Schimel made a stop in Clark County on Wednesday and met with law enforcement officials.The visit was a part of Schimel’s 72 county state wide tour. Schimel and Clark County Sheriff Greg Herrick discussed a wide variety of topics including providing funding for mental health patients and making drug abuse treatment available at an affordable cost. According to Schimel, the West Central Drug Task Force, which includes Clark County law enforcement, will receive more than $70,000 to help investigate drug distribution crimes in the area.
Schimel also joined the Alliance for Wisconsin Youth, Marshfield Clinic Health System, and the Northwoods Coalition at a kickoff on preventing methamphetamine abuse in Wisconsin.
