Clark County Community Foundation Announces Grant Recipients

-The Clark County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the 2017 Grant Cycle Award Recipients.Because generous donors have supported the Foundation, these organizations will have additional funds to help accomplish their missions, move forward with projects and benefit Clark County residents. Congratulations to the area nonprofit organizations who have received funding through various unrestricted Field of Interest Funds and the Clark County Community Fund. They include Page Forward-Volunteers for Literacy in Clark County, Catholic Charities ??" House of Mercy in Loyal, Central Clark County Community Childcare Center in Greenwood, Owen-Withee School District, City of Owen’s Public Library, Clark County Area Food Pantry and Resource Center Neillsville, Willard Historical Society, Clark County Health Department, Friends of the Old School Inc. in Owen and the Neillsville School District.
Area nonprofit, charitable, education, and service organizations face many challenges: a high demand for the services they provide, reduced resources from which to draw upon, and the ever-present need for volunteer support. Finding ways to help meet their needs and face these challenges, is a major reason for establishing and operating the CCCF and the Clark County Community Fund. While not all projects were able to receive funding this past year (due to limited funds), plans are already in motion to raise funds for the 2018 grant cycle.
