Greenwood School Board Approves Donations

-The Greenwood School Board approved a couple donations at their meeting on Monday.The board approved a donation from Carol Toburen. She donated camera systems for the west gym and football field to allow for games to be viewed in the concession stands. They also accepted a donation from Kevin Syth. He donated labor, supplies, and use of equipment on the Nature Center in the Outdoor Classroom. The board also approved Lake Sturgeon Bowl Team field trip to Duluth and Michele Green provided the Board with a preview of the new District website scheduled for launch on January 19th. The new website will include “live feed” and apps for smartphones. The board also heard an update on the CESA 10 Board and they received an update on spending for this school.
Finally, the board delegate was given the authority to vote on behalf of the board on WASB resolutions during the Delegate Assembly at the WASB Convention and the board approved 1-year contract extensions for Elementary Principal/Director of Teaching & Learning, Director of Business Services, and the District Administrator/7-12 Principal.
