Motorcycle vs Deer Accident In Wood County

Early Saturday morning the Wood County Sheriff's Department responded to a report of a single motorcycle crash on Ranger Road, near Hollywood Rd in the township of Saratoga.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the lone occupant of the motorcycle had struck a deer while operating on Ranger Rd.  

The operator of the motorcycle, 45 year old Edward Hardwick of Nekoosa, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital.  He is currently in critical but stable condition.
