Dorchester Man Enters Plea for Accident

-A Dorchester man entered a not guilty plea to charges against him from an accident that killed a Greenwood man.21-year-old Gerald Baker waived a preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him including homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, knowingly operating a vehicle with a revoked license that causes death and reckless driving causing great bodily harm.
According to court records, Baker left a party after drinking several beers and drove away. He didn’t know that 24-year-old Ben Gosar was sleeping in the box of the truck. Baker hit the gas hard, lost control of the truck and crashed. Gosar died in a Madison hospital six days later.
