Thursday, January 4th, 2018 -- 9:03 AM
(WDLB) -There is a race for one seat on the Marshfield Common Council this spring.Current district-seven incumbent Jason Zaleski is being challenged by David Peterson, and both got their necessary paperwork to the city’s clerk’s office by the Tuesday deadline. There will be at least one new face on the Marshfield Common Council. District-five Alderman Ed Wagner announced earlier he would not seek reelection to the seat he’s held since April of 2006. One person has filed nomination papers, though. Steve MacSwain is running unopposed for Wagner’s seat.
And three incumbents are running unopposed as well. Aldermen Mike Feirer, Chris Jockheck and Tom Buttke all filed for reelection, and are facing no opposition this spring.
