Employment Matters at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting last week.All three administrators have indicated, in writing, that they will be returning for the 2018-19 school year. The board approved a motion to accept the resignation of Kelly Bogdonovich as the elementary secretary. The board thanked Kelly for her years of terrific service to the District. Also, each year the district borrows money, and pays it back, throughout the year to cover their expenses until aids and taxes are made available.
For several years, the district has taken advantage of a revolving line of credit with Forward Financial to meet this need. Forward notified the district that their legal counsel sees problems with this and recommends that the district take out a straight line of credit. The board approved a motion to approve a straight line of credit for $1,000,000 for the year at and interest rate of 3.75%.
