Clark County Health Department Performs Wiconsin Wins Tobacco Checks, Part 2

-The Clark County Health Department has recently completed the Wisconsin Wins tobacco checks.I spoke with Rebecca Rosandick, the health educator for Clark County, and she explained how Clark County retailers did.
"Actually, we are better than the surrounding counties, so yay Clark County! But we have better compliance rates than Wood, Jackson, Chippewa, Eau Claire, Marathon and Taylor. We actually still have 5 checks yet to do for this year, but out of the 28 that we have completed so far, we've only had one retailer who was not in compliance. And with them, like I said this is supposed to be a positive reinforcement program, they were not cited. I am required to tell law enforcement what happened, but I recommended to law enforcement that they just receive a warning and the proper training so they don't sell in the future."
