Granton School Board Approves Field Trip

-The Granton School Board approved a field trip at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the choir field trip to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater for Dec. 16th. They also approved the Granton Community Child Care Center meal prices, approved adding WI Interscholastic Horsemanship Association as a club, approved the Department of Public Instruction application to add Food Science as a science elective and approved the resolution to allow American Deposit Management as the designated depository for the referendum funds.
The board also heard the Administrators’ Reports. Principal Julie Kolarik stated she’s getting into all classrooms to observe and meet with all teachers on feedback and they have started implementing EduClimber which is a new program to house student data. With the district’s homework help center, students are working and receiving help which aligns with the grading policy of 70/30.
