Four People Now Circulating Nomination Papers for Marshfield Mayor's Race

(WDLB) -Four people are now circulating nomination papers to run for Marshfield mayor.The latest are current 8th-district alderman Rebecca Spiros and Emilee Denman. Bob McManus and current District six Alderman Tom Witzel earlier began collecting their nomination signatures to secure a spot on the April ballot. Should all four get the required 200 signatures, a primary will be held February 20th, and the top two vote-getters will then square off in the April third general election.
Nomination papers are due by January second at 5 p-m. Longtime Mayor Chris Meyer is not running for re-election after serving five two-year terms which will end in April.
