New General Manager for Marshfield Utilities

(WDLB) -Marshfield Utilities has a new General Manager. He is Nicolas Kumm, who will take over that job on January first.Kumm replaces Bob Trussoni, who retired a few months ago. His promotion ends a five-month nationwide search, and he was one of more than 40 applicants for the job. Kumm has been with Marshfield Utilities since 2002, beginning as the Electrical Engineer. He’s also worked as the Power Systems Engineer and the Electric, Communications and Gas Manager. During his 15-year career, Kumm has spearheaded many changes and major projects, including the construction of the M-1 Combustion Turbine.
He’s also been actively involved with statewide and national industry organizations, and serves on a number of committees and boards. Kumm will lead an organization with nearly 14-thousand electric and 83-hundred water customers.
