More Info on Monday's Standoff in Black River Falls

-The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department has released more information regarding a standoff situation in Black River Falls on Monday.On Monday, around 1:40pm, a woman reported a domestic disturbance incident. Authorities made contact with the suspect, 26-year-old Denzel Sanders of Black River Falls, outside a residence on 3rd Street. Sanders fled inside the home and barricaded himself inside. Authorities had received reports that Sanders had access to multiple weapons inside the home. However, after four hours, authorities were able to convince Sanders to come out of the home and he surrendered peacefully.
Sanders was arrested and is facing multiple charges including failure to comply, domestic disorderly conduct and more. The case has been sent to the Jackson County District Attorney.
