Fun Events at the Marshfield Public Library for December

-The Marshfield Public Library has some fun events happening.Today, from 6pm-8:30pm, is the final weekly check-in for November’s National Novel Writing Month and they have the Power of Genetics Seminar tonight from 6pm-8pm. Tuesday is Family night at the library. This Tuesday, December 5th, they have the Hour of Code from 6pm-7pm and 7:15pm-8:15pm. This will teach people how to use code, which tells a computer what to do. On Tuesday, December 12th from 6:30-7:30 they have a Scavenger Hunt and LEGO Night returns to the library on December 19th from 6:30-7:30pm. Some other events include the Tech Take Apart Program being held on Wednesday, December 6th from 3:30pm-4:30pm, which teaches you what’s inside a computer, and the Bright Star Touring Theatre’s Holidays Around the World Program at 1:30pm on Sunday, December 10th.
They’re also celebrating the grand opening of the 2nd Street Community Center on Tuesday, December 12th, Board Games for Adults returns Tuesday, December 26th from 12:30pm-3:30pm, the Creative Writer’s Group meets December 11th at 6:30pm, they have an Adult Craft Night making decorative glass ornaments on Monday, December 18th starting at 6pm. And finally, the Book Club will be meeting on January 29th at 6:30pm. Also, Friends of Marshfield Public Library has 2018 Book Lover’s Calendars on sale and they are collecting new or gently used books for their holiday Give-A-Kid-A-Book program.
