Drug Take Back Numbers Released

Tuesday, the Wisconsin Department of Justice released updated numbers on last month's Drug Take Back events.Attorney General Brad Schimel says 63,941 pounds of expired or unwanted prescription drugs, almost 32 tons, were collected, boxed and shipped by semi to an incinerator in Indiana.
Schimel also says Wisconsin led the nation in the number of law enforcement agencies participating in the semi-annual Drug Take Back. He said 266 police and sheriff's departments hosted 130 events on October 28th alone.
