Greenwood City Council Discusses Several Topics

-The Greenwood City Council discussed several topics at their meeting last week.The council heard the police report and they have discussed setting up a meeting with the Clark County Emergency Management Department to go over various emergency management drills and other scenarios that could arise. The council also heard the public works report and they approved the snow plowing contract. The city was also awarded $12,500 to help with road projects. Voucher and the treasurer’s report were also approved.
Finally, the council tabled an amendment to one ordinance, but approved an amendment to another regarding discrepancies in speed zones within city limits. They were also presented with a health insurance proposal for city employees.
