Fun Atmosphere at Clark County Tourism Committee Meeting

-The Clark County Tourism Committee discussed many topics at their meeting on Wednesday.The meeting, more informal this time and treated as a holiday celebration, as they won’t be meeting in December, was designed to provide the group on updates on several topics. They heard up Clark County’s upcoming 5th season, hunting. They’re working on getting posters out to local bars, gas stations, restaurants, etc., highlighting the numerous job openings and the quality of life in the county, hoping to draw people to come and live. They also heard about Clark County Economic Development Corporation’s new website close to being done. They discussed the recently completed and successful Harvest Moon Tour.
Finally, they discussed job openings and unemployment numbers in Clark County. They also heard an update on what’s happening in the Forestry and Parks Department. During a free period, committee members talked about various events happening in their communities and asked questions on various topics. The committee will be meeting again in January and all are welcome to attend.
