Employment Matters and More at Greenwood School Board Meeting

-The Greenwood School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the employment of Tracy Rossow as the 4K Teacher Assistant. They also approved 3 new volunteers. It was also mentioned that they’ve already started on the 2018-19 school calendar and administration shared an early draft of a flow chart to assist in decision-making across all levels of the district. New Course Proposals will be reviewed in the coming days. Any new courses will be brought to the board for final approval. The board approved the policies included in the 26-1 Update following a second reading and they reviewed the policies included in the 26-2 Update as a 1st reading.
Finally, the board approved a parent letter regarding the ALICE training and presentation and training schedule will now be developed. And the board was provided with a reminder of statutory deadlines regarding the employment of professional staff.
