Clark County's Walk-In Application Dates for Heating Assistance this Week

-Clark County Department of Social Services is taking walk-in applications for the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program for the 2017-2018 heating season.Approximately 1,265 households were assisted last heating season. Appointments will be managed on a first come, first served basis, but do not call for an appointment. This week’s walk-in dates are Tuesday, November 7th and Thursday, November 9th from 8:30am-3:30pm at the Clark County Courthouse. You will need to provide documentation for all household gross income for the last 3 months, driver’s license (if have not applied before), and a heating and electric bill. Income for people who are self-employed, farmers, or seasonal workers is based on federal income tax forms for the previous year, 2016.
For Clark County residents who are age 60 or older, the Clark County Aging Department will assist with application completion starting October 1. Please contact Clark County Aging Department at (715)743-5144 for more details.
