Neillsville Freshmen Named Overall Reserve Champion at Wisconsin Interscholastic Horsemanship Association Finals

-Brooke Magnus and her pony, Zippos Classic Lad Jojo, were named Overall Reserve Champions in Division D at the Wisconsin Interscholastic Horsemanship Association finals in Madison this past weekend.WIHA is an equestrian competition for students in 6th-12th grade attending any Wisconsin educational institution. Brooke and JoJo also received individual championship awards in the several classes including Trail, Hunt Seat Showmanship, Hunt Seat Equitation, Saddle Seat Equitation, Saddle Seat Bareback and Western Bareback.
Brooke is a freshman at Neillsville High School and the first student from the district to compete in WIHA. Baraboo received the Grand Championship honors at the show with Elmwood taking the third place spot with 12 schools competing.
