Neillsville City Council Hears Committee Reports

-The Neillsville City Council heard the various committee reports from the past couple weeks at their meeting on Tuesday.They heard the Finance Committee Report from October 9th. The majority of this meeting was spent discussing the general fund rollover and the various lines of the budget that needed adjustment in order to balance it properly. They also heard the Finance Committee Report from October 11th. They discussed the wage schedule at that meeting and made final budget approvals for the various budget lines. At the next council meeting, the council will vote on a net city levy of $1,206,427.
They council also heard the Heritage Days Committee Report from their meeting on October 12th. They discussed possible new events for next year and an update on Miss Neillsville. They also discussed bands and sponsorships, but with no updates on either. They heard the Historic Preservation Commission Report from their meeting on October 18th. They discussed the 2018 historic calendar.
