Neillsville School Board Approves Several Policies

-The Neillsville School Board approves several policies at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the initial adoption of several policies including EBCA, EEAD, EFC, GCAJHC, GDAB, IGBA, JEDA, JHC, JHCC, JHCD and KGD. In employment matters, the board approved the hiring of Logan Grap for the JV boys’ basketball coaching position and Joe Bethea for the half-time high school assistant wrestling coach. They also approved a $174.72 bonus for volleyball coaching to Tammy Matson and a $687.80 bonus for volleyball coaching for Kate Mueller.
Finally, the board heard a brief report from District Administrator John Gaier. He reported on a thank you note, Chloee Lowry heading to state for cross country, an article ranking the best and worst states for teachers to work in, an update on the $579,000,000 state surplus, an email response to good news and a Focus article.
