Neillsville City Council Approves Bids for Old Public Works Vehicles

-The Neillsville City Council approved a couple bids for some old public works vehicles at their meeting on Tuesday.During the public works portion of the meeting, the council approved a bid of $1,000 from Tom Shultz for the 1986 boom truck. The other bid was from Shaw’s Wrecking Yard for $750. They also approved a bid from Mark Khart of $2,660 for the 1989 Chevy Dump Truck. The other bids were $800 from Daniel Bautch and $500 from Shaw’s Wrecking Yard. Both those items were then approved during the regular common council meeting.
The council also approved $4,000 from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the next wave of the Click It-or-Ticket It program. Finally, they approved Shannon Gaier and Michelle Friemoth as the two new members of the Heritage Days Committee.
