Greenwood School Board Approves Tax Levy

-The Greenwood School Board approved the district’s tax levy at a special board meeting on Monday.The board certified a mill rate levy of $10.55 per $1000 of equalization value. This is a decrease in the mill rate of .58 cents per $1000 from last year.
The amount of revenue to be collected in 2017-18 is $2,254,812. This is down $93,875 from 2016-17. A decrease in revenue and general aid is a common occurrence for Clark County’s school districts.
