Alma Center Man Sentenced in Clark County Court for Accident

-An Alma Center man, arrested after an accident with a milk truck south of Neillsville was sentenced in Clark County Court.Back in October of last year, Harry Dougherty was arrested by a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants causing bodily injury. Dougherty was operating a vehicle which was involved in a traffic crash with a milk truck on Highway 73, near Middle Road. Dougherty’s passenger’s femur was broken during the crash.
Dougherty pleaded guilty to OWI causing injury. Four other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 3 years’ probation with a condition of 180 days of jail time. He also had his license revoked for 24 months and an ignition interlock device installed for 24 months. He also owes the courts $2,458.
